TECH-U CLINICS
Dandy Horse Cycles now offers one-on-one and group ‘How-to’ training at our Tech-U clinics!
You can now book an appointment with our professional mechanic and learn how to perform maintenance and repairs on your own bike. Appointments may be booked for individuals, or even for small groups. After completing your Tech-U clinic, you will qualify for a one time discount of 25% off the purchase of tools and/or repair parts.
Tech-U Package 1 – $65 plus GST
- Pre-ride inspection
- General maintenance (cleaning & lubricating)
- Basic adjustments (brakes & gears)
- Flat repairs
- Open Q&A
- 20% discount on parts used during Tech-U clinic
- 1 bike only
- Add $10 per extra person
- Approximately 1 hour in length
Tech-U Package 2 – $65 plus GST
- Sit in on a full tune up of your bike
- Mechanic will provide general information, but will focus more on the tuning of your bike
- Open Q&A
- As with a standard tune-up, minor parts may be replaced as required at mechanic’s discretion
- 20% discount on parts used during Tech-U clinic
- Approximately 1 hour in length
- 1 bike only
- Only available for individuals
Tech-U Package 3 – $75 per hour plus GST
- Fully customized training session based on your requirements
- For example: brake bleeds, wheel truing & tensioning, wheel building, suspension service, bearing service (hub, headset, b.b., etc)
- Open Q&A
- 20% discount on parts used during Tech-U clinic
- 1 bike only
- 1 hour minimum booking
- Add $10 per extra person
* Customer may be required to obtain specific or proprietary parts before booking the appointment.
